Turmeric Mask Recipes as Beauty Remedies for Your Glowing Skin

* Turmeric and Honey Beauty Remedy Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tbsp organic raw honey
1 tbsp turmeric powder

DirectionsBeauty Remedy Turmeric, Honey, Almond Butter Face Mask Recipes:
Mix all ingredients and apply to your face for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.

 

* Turmeric and Lime Beauty Remedy Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp (half a lime) juice

Directions:
Mix all ingredients and apply to your face for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Be consistent and make this facial mask at least once a week.

Homemade Pumpkin Beauty Remedies as a Treat to Yourself

In the Fall, certain seasonal fruits and vegetables can be beneficial for your health. For example, you can make a homemade anti-aging beauty remedy using fall fruits and vegetables that will help moisturize and nourish your skin.

Pumpkin is packed with anti-oxidants (A, C and Zinc) and is a perfect beauty remedies ingredient to make a cleansing and rejuvenating pumpkin facial mask that will make your skin glow.

Pumpkin is also rich in fiber and beta-carotene and is one of the best fall whole foods that you can use in natual beauty recipe and remedy to help keep your skin, face, and eyes healthy.

Homemade Pumpkin Beauty Remedies Facial Recipe

Natural Pumpkin Beauty Remedies Facial Mask Recipe

Anti-aging Beauty Recipe and Remedy Ingredients:

2 tbsp pumpkin puree

1 tbsp plain yogurt of olive oil

1/2 tsp raw honey

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and apply to your neck and face.  After 10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Homemade Pumpkin Scrub Beauty Recipe and Remedy

Pumpkin scrub ingredients:

  • 1/8 cup of pumpkin puree
  • 1/8 cup ground toasted pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tbsp Pumpkin seed oil
  • 1 ¼ cup mineral salt
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon and ground clove
  • Essential Oil – Mandarin Orange

Directions:

  • Roast the pumpkin seeds at 350 for 20 minutes or until fragrant. Once seeds are cool, put them through a spice grinder or coffee grinder. Mix the salt, seeds, and spices in a bowl.
  • Alternate pumpkin pulp and oil one tablespoon at a time until you have reached the desired texture.
  • Keep in a tightly covered jar, and use your pumpkin scrub when you take your next shower.

Beauty Remedies and Tips for Weight Loss Detox in the Summer

Summer is a beautiful time of the year. It can be also the healthiest time if you learn to take advantage of the summer weather, long days and abundance of seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Summer can be the right time for natural fast weight loss,  detox and lots of inexpensive beauty remedies to nourish and rejuvenate your skin.

Here are some helpful hot weather tips for you to enjoy your summer  :

I. Try to drink two-three extra glasses of water a day– it is very easy to do when it is hot outside. If you can develop this habit, you will continue drinking more water in the fall and winter.Summer Weight Loss Detox and Natural Beauty Remedies and Tips

Dehydration is one of the causes for headaches, migraines, and constipation, all of which can lead to high blood pressure and heart disease, hormones imbalance, PMS symptoms, etc.

II. Start an easy excercise program. By easy I mean think about some outdoor and indoor activities you might have forgotten you enjoy, like  walking, bike riding, tennis, swimming, hiking or even dancing. If you are extra ambitious, consider camping.

Summer days are long enough, so no excuses for not having time for an excercise program. Eventually it will become your daily routine and will thus be easier to keep up with in winter.

III. Try to reduce high-calorie and high fat foods by replacing them with an abundance of fruits and vegetables that can help with constipation. Eating more plant foods helps with weight loss,  detox, and to cleanse smart. Why? Because all fruits and most vegetables are laxative = rich in fiber. And foods high in fiber is what you need the most if you want to have a healthy digestive system.

Avoiding high calorie and high sugar foods can also relax you, which is very important if you want to feel and look fabulous (remember: stress and nutrition are related and needed for natural fast weight loss)

IV. Try to eat more detoxifying food, for example, diuretic foods, such as cherries, pine apple, celery, parsley root, water melon, cucumbers, artichokes, watercress, all of which improve urination.

Hot weather increases sweating and reduces urination, which can lead to water retention, and sometimes to a puffy face or heavy legs. These foods will also help you reduce your blood pressure which is very important for healthy kidneys and heart.
