Reduce Stress with Super Calming Foods for Breakfast

Try to incorporate more super calming foods into your breakfast recipes in order to reduce stress and beat moodiness. The food we eat can have a very positive influence on our feelings, moods and behavior.

What if I tell you that you can start your morning with a mood elevating breakfast to reduce stress and make you happy for the rest of the day? This breakfast will help you feel calmer and more in control.

* Pear and Celery Juice Stress Remedy RecipePear and Celery Juice Recipe Stress Remedy

Pear is rich in fiber, and studies show that fruit fiber might reduce breast cancer risk in postmenopausal women. Fiber also helps slow down sugar absorption in the blood which will help you with mood swings. Pear is also a  source of B-complex needed for  protecting nervous system.

Celery has components for a sedative effect and is considered a nerve tonic.

Aroma from ginger will help you relax and reduce stress.

Ingredients:

1 pear

2 celery sticks

1 inch ginger root

Directions:

Put all ingredients in a juicer, make a juice and enjoy.

* Oatmeal with Fruits, Berries and Nuts Stress Remedy Recipe

A bowl of fresh cooked oats with some fruits and nuts is a perfect day to start your day.

Oats is considered a calming remedy for your digestion and mood.  As any whole grain, oats are rich in fiber to help you get rid of constipation and balance blood sugar which helps reduce risk of heart attack and prevent breast cancer.

Oats also help the brain process tryptophan and keep us in a better mood.

Cook oats the way you prefer, add some fruits, berries and nuts to make the healthiest breakfast.

Green Kale Juice and Salad Recipes for Natural Weight Loss and Detox

Are you ready try kale juice and salad recipe for natural weight Lloss and simple detox?

How often do you have green leafy vegetables, such as kale, collard greens, Swiss chard, mustard greens, etc. in your meals?  They all are rich in vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin C and phytonutrients to prevent cancer and boost our immunity.

Green leafy vegetables are low in calories and fat and rich in fiber which is crucial for natural weight loss and easy detox. If you don’t know how to cook green leafy vegetables, just try them in green juice or green smoothie recipes first. I would like to share with you these two recipes by Victoria Moran, author  of Younger by the Day: 365 Ways to Rejuvenate Your Body and Revitalize Your Spirit

*Green Juice /Lemonade Detox Recipe

Ingredients:

3-4 stalks of organic celeryKale Juice and Salad Recipes for Natural Weight Loss and Detox

3-4 leaves of kale

1-2 organic apples

1 peeled lemon

Directions:

Make a juice and drink to your health.

*Mediterranean Massaged Kale Salad Detox Recipe

Ingredients:

1 bunch kale

2 carrots, chopped

1-2 small bell peppers, chopped

olive oil

apple cider vinegar

sea salt

(you can add any vegetables)

black pepper to taste

Directions:

Discard and remove stalks. Chop kale leaves finely, put them in a bowl and massage with sea salt, apple cider vinegar and olive oil, until the leaves break down -as if cooked). Put aside for two hours. Add red peppers and carrots or vegetables of your choice, sprinkle with olive oil and serve.

Two Fat Dissolving Pancake and Latke Spring Weight Loss Detox Recipes

Are you ready to try two tasty pancake and latkes detox recipes you can enjoy for breakfast or lunch.

Each recipe uses fat dissolving foods  such as radish, turnip, shitake mushrooms, beets, onions, etc. that help dissolve fat to cleanse you body. Cumin contains oils that are effective in helping to detox the liver and aid digestion. Cayenne purifies blood.

So, if you want to lose weight naturally with natural easy weight loss detox recipe,  add fat dissolving detox foods to your meals.

Here are two healthy recipes with detox spices and fat dissolving vegetables.

Turnip and Shitake Spring Detox Pancakes / Latkes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup russet potatoes, shreddedLatkes and Pancake Recipes for Natural Easy Weight Loss Detox
  • 1 cup turnip, shredded
  • ½ cup shitake mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4-5 tbsp whole-wheat flour
  • 3-4 eggs
  • 1/4tsp cayenne pepper
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix all ingredients, form latkes and bake in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes or until crispy. Then turn them over and bake for 10 minutes more.

2. Mix all ingredients, form latkes with a spoon or hand and fry them in olive oil on a skillet until crispy

Beet and Cumin Detox Latkes / Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup beets, shreddedLatkes and Pancake Recipes for Natural Easy Weight Loss Detox
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • ½ cup carrot, shredded
  • 4-5 tbsp whole wheat flower
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2tsp cumin powder
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil (or more if needed)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and form latkes with warm hands or use a spoon to put them on a skilet. Fry latkes in olive oil, over medium-high heat, for 4-5 minutes until firm and browned on both sides.
