How often do you have green leafy vegetables, such as kale, collard greens, Swiss chard, mustard greens, etc. in your meals? They all are rich in vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin C and phytonutrients to prevent cancer and boost our immunity.
Green leafy vegetables are low in calories and fat and rich in fiber which is crucial for natural weight loss and easy detox. If you don’t know how to cook green leafy vegetables, just try them in green juice or green smoothie recipes first. *Green Juice /Lemonade Detox Recipe
Ingredients:
3-4 stalks of organic celery
3-4 leaves of kale
1-2 organic apples
1 peeled lemon
Directions:
Make a juice and drink to your health.
*Mediterranean Massaged Kale Salad Detox Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bunch kale
2 carrots, chopped
1-2 small bell peppers, chopped
olive oil
apple cider vinegar
sea salt
(you can add any vegetables)
black pepper to taste
Directions:
Discard and remove stalks. Chop kale leaves finely, put them in a bowl and massage with sea salt, apple cider vinegar and olive oil, until the leaves break down -as if cooked). Put aside for two hours. Add red peppers and carrots or vegetables of your choice, sprinkle with olive oil and serve.
