Cancer Fighting Cabbage and Soup Recipes

Do you like cabbage? If you want to eat healthy with the seasons,  now is the right time to try some recipes for cabbage soup.

Cabbage is rich in cancer-fighting nutrients, including Vitamin C, fiber, and two phytochemicals that can help cleanse your body of cancer producing substances, get rid of extra estrogen, and flush  fat.

Studies show that women who include cabbage in their diet can reduce their risk of breast cancer by up to 45%.

Cabbage has the unique ability to nourish and relax the spleen, pancreas and stomach..

Cancer Fighting Cabbage Soup Recipe

  • I pound green cabbage, diced
  • 1 onion choppedCancer Fighting Cabbage and Soup Recipes
  • 2 medium carrots chopped
  • 6 cups water
  • 3 tbsp barley miso
  • Parsley to garnish
  • 1 tbsp dried basil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • sea salt and black pepper to taste

Sautee onions and carrots in olive oil for in a soup pot for 3 minutes, add cabbage, salt and basil and sauté for 3- 4 minutes. Add water, bring to boil and simmer until vegetables are soft – for about 20-25 minutes.

Use a little bit of broth to dissolve the miso, and stir back into soup. Simmer uncovered for 3- 4 minutes. Add parsley just before the serving.

Healthy Cabbage Recipe with Lentils and Arame Sea Weed

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup dried Arame sea weed
  • ½ cup cooked lentils
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3-4 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic minced
  • sea salt to taste

Soak Arame sea weed in some water for 5 minutes. Sautee onion in olive oil for 4-5 minutes, add cabbage, salt, tomato paste, Arame sea weed and sautee for 20 -25 min until cabbage is ready. Add stir in lentils, turmeric, red pepper, mix thoroughly and serve. You can also eat it cold.

Here are some healthy weight loss tips and exercise shortcuts to burn calories  while doing some boring work around the house. If you don’t like home cleaning but want to manage your weight, it may be time to reconsider some of your habits and add some fun to your daily routine. Turn Household Tasks into a Fun Home Workout

1. Cleaning counters can help you burn more than 100 calories in 30 minutes. Start stretching and bending during this activity to detox your body from toxins and get more flexible. Detoxing the kitchen is number one step to a healthy weight loss detox.

2. Just cooking will help you burn 85 calories in 30 minutes. Try to dance around the kitchen and you will have an aerobic session in the kitchen. 

3. Singing or dancing while vacuuming will help you not only manage your weight but also beat seasonal depression, anxiety and moodiness. Don’t forget to breathe, smile and have some water in between.

4. A boring washing dishes activity will help you burn 78 calories in 30 minutes. Combine it with a short washing dishes meditation to relax, reduce stress and lower your blood pressure.

5. In order to have a guilt free dessert, take some time for mopping the floor in the kitchen and burn at least 119 calories in 30 minutes. Be creative and add some dancing moves or yoga stretches and you will earn extra calorie free dessert.

6. Don’t forget about old fashionable dusting if you want to burn at least 80 calories in 30 minutes. Dusting with music will help you not only to lose some weight but also act as a healthy weight loss detox that can reduce risk of getting asthma and allergies.

7. Making beds will help you burn more than 110 calories in 30 minutes. Add some lifting and bending and you don’t need to go the gym.

8. Scrubbing the bath , one of unpleasant home cleaning tasks, might help you burn around 200 calories in 30 minutes. Add some music to make your experience more enjoyable. Don’t forget about green cleaning chemical in order to avoid harmful toxins.

If we want to lose weight, or at least manage our weight and detox our body naturally, we may need to purge  our kitchen  of  foods that might make us super sick.

If we detox our kitchen, we will help ourselves avoid foods that can cause cravings and weight gain. For natural weight loss, detox your kitchen by staying away from the junk food you  indulge in every time you are under stress, bored or during emotional crisis.

Five Steps to Detox Your Kitchen

1. Start reading labels in order to find foods with hidden sugar and sugar and caloric overload foods.

2.. Get rid of all refined grains and sugar-packed breakfast cereals you like to have for breakfast.For Natural Weight Loss  Detox Your Kitchen

3. Get rid of junk foods, fast foods, processed foods, salad dressings, luncheon meats, canned fruits, canned soups, cheese dips, white flour bread you like to have for lunch.
